A Morning That Meant More
Last month, our team visited one of the communities we serve during our regional outreach. It was a simple morning, but one that reminded us why this work matters.
We gathered with parents, children, and local leaders under a shaded area near the school. As the children arrived, some shy and others full of energy, you could see both excitement and uncertainty in their faces. For many families, access to consistent education and healthcare has been a challenge.
During the visit, our team distributed scholastic materials, shared a meal with the children, and spent time listening to the parents. One mother shared how difficult it had been to keep her child in school due to financial strain. Through the support provided by Bulamu Child Support, her child is now able to attend school consistently and focus on learning without fear of being sent home.
Beyond the practical support, what stood out most was the sense of partnership. Conversations with caregivers, moments of prayer, and time spent encouraging the children created an atmosphere of hope and unity.
This mission was not about a one-time visit. It was about strengthening relationships, understanding real needs, and continuing to walk alongside families in a meaningful way.
As we left, the smiles and gratitude reminded us that transformation often begins with small, faithful steps.
We remain committed to supporting these children and communities, knowing that together, we can build stronger futures.
