Catherine is 9years old and is a daughter to a single mother of 29 years whose husband left her with five children of which Catherine is the oldest.  They live in nakyere village and catherine’s mother is a peasant famer and that’s where she gets the money to take care of her children. Catherine is just in primary 2 and the mother is grateful for the support that the family gets through Bulamu. Catherine now goes to school without worry that she will be chased back home for school fees, but also she gets to have scholastic materials, clothes, shoes and many other items as a result of the generosity of a number of people through Bulamu Child Support.
